A few months ago @wildafricafoundation gave a substantial donation to the Orphanage. They requested that the donation be used towards projects for the Orphanage staff & volunteers, the Anti-poaching Team and for much needed items. Management decided that we would build a dining and BBQ area for the carers and volunteers, a place they can sit down together for a meal, relax their tired muscles, a place they can chill and “talk rhino”. It was decided that the staff would build this area themselves under the capable leadership of orphanage MD Arrie. WAF also sponsored a lovely Christmas braai for all the carers, volunteers, management and the Anti-poaching Team. With their donation we also purchased a much needed laptop for admin, rhino records and databases as our old laptop was on it’s last legs.
WAF it took a while but here is the result of the love and support you have shown us. The whole Team here is so happy about the new dining area. It looks amazing! The new laptop is making a world of difference and is just in time for equipment arriving in our clinic/mini-lab.
