Our local small animal vet, contacted us to assist with a Small spotted Genet baby dropped off at her practice and our management team did not hesitate to take in the poor baby.
The next day the carers were contacted again with another orphan, this time a Large-spotted Genet baby. With hectic wind, hail and thunderstorms a big part of South African summers, it happens often that small mammals and birds get orphaned.
Our carers are more than happy to help any creature in need. Milli & Shongi will be raised, rehabilitated and then released in a safe area on a nearby game reserve.
